Samurai Jack and Invader Zim!!!!!-distracted inspiration!!!

Ok well, here it is, I WISH I HAD WATCHED NICKELODEON MORE!!!!cause then i wouldve been addicted to invader Zim from day one!!!!Ive just really started to watch it, and im hooked. Its not just the amazing humor and stupidly funny antics of zim's attempts to take over the world and miserably failing, i love the style of the sick and twisted dark style animation, very Gothic, i reckon, in some parts anyway. Im very keen on the over dramatic lighting used in some scenes. It is overall a very abstract piece of work, and its a damn shame it got canceled near the end of the second season. I will definatley be buying the dvds shortly anyway. I just wish i watched some of the kids channels more, i should really, but its just recently they have been shit lame cartoons that arn't worthy of my watching. I know there are some good shows on, just not a lot.
Now another awesome show which i love is 'Samurai Jack' its just a kick ass martial arts cartoon which is very nice in every way. I really love the abstract style artwork, they have that hand painted look to them, resembling old japanease art works. One of the most interesting thing that i love about the show, is the cinematic aspect ratios it jumps to a lot, they change a lot and they really give that film like quality to every episode. The series has lots and lots of different art styles, unlike most cartoon or anime series, and thats another quality which makes me love the show even more.
